Unearthed
The ground beneath Cerene shakes as she wonders what could possibly make this tremendous amount of movement in the earth. The ground is starting to shake so violently that its all she can hear. She loses her footing and tumbles off the boulder. She picks herself up and gathers her balance just enough to turn around and see bright green streaks under lighting the moss. The boulder is pulling up dirt and grass from all around its edges as it rises straight up into the air. It is now a towering rock spire stretching over the treeline. Pieces of dirt begin to fall from the sides. Zagging trails of moss can be seen from top to bottom. Two indentations are now visible towards the top. There are three long deep cracks in the spire as well. One favoring the left side, another the right side, and the last right down the center.
"Hello!", a voice booms.
Cerene's jaw opens in disbelief, she quickly paces around the base searching for the source of the voice.
"Hello!"
"H-H-Hi.."
The two darkened holes at the top of the spire spill out green light from within. The light cuts through the crevices of the spire and as the spire folds one rock layer stretches outwards to the left, level with the top of the treeline. Another rock layer rises up from the right. The sounds of crackling and crumbling rock begin to emit from the boulder. The top begins to lean down toward the soil as it bends at its newly formed knees. It extends one rock appendage forward to Cerene and places the back of its hand behind itself.
"Cerene of the Forest! I have awoken!"
The stone spire is bowing.
